About Me

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but have since lived in Charlotte, New York City, and San Francisco before settling down in my current location, Lakewood, Colorado with my family. I have two young sons, Crosby and Oscar, with my husband Joe, and a very cute and energetic (i.e. yappy) dog, Kona. I love spending time with my family. Some of my favorite activities outside of writing include baking, yoga, reading, and visiting the local playgrounds with my boys. 

I've spent the majority of my professional career working in software technology, but have carried a life long passion for writing with me. I began writing a children's poetry collection in 2017, and spent the next six years growing my family, raising my sons, and finding time to write and draw. My 189-page, debut book, titled, "Why Not on Tuesday?  was written and illustrated by me, and was my first published book. I've since released 4 additional children's books, including my Pittsburgh-themed ABC book titled, "Y is for Yinz."
